Microsoft fixes Windows 11 bug that disabled mouse and keyboard in Recovery Mode

Microsoft has swiftly released an urgent out-of-band (OOB) update, labeled KB5070773, to tackle a glitch in Windows 11 that rendered USB input devices, such as mice and keyboards, unusable within the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). This problem emerged following the earlier deployment of the KB5066835 security update this month, impacting devices operating on Windows 11 versions 24H2, 25H2, and Windows Server 2025. The new update aims to restore functionality to affected systems, ensuring users can navigate recovery environments without hindrance.
