Microsoft fixes Windows 11 bug that disabled mouse and keyboard in Recovery Mode

Microsoft has recently issued an urgent out-of-band update, labeled KB5070773, to fix a critical Windows 11 glitch that rendered USB input devices, such as mice and keyboards, nonfunctional within the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). This problem emerged following the release of the KB5066835 security update earlier in the month, impacting systems operating on Windows 11 versions 24H2, 25H2, as well as Windows Server 2025. The swift response from Microsoft aims to ensure that affected users regain full functionality of their USB peripherals when accessing recovery options.
