Microsoft fixes Windows 11 bug that disabled mouse and keyboard in Recovery Mode

Microsoft has swiftly released an urgent out-of-band update, labeled KB5070773, to tackle a pesky bug in Windows 11 that was causing USB input devices, such as mice and keyboards, to malfunction in the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). This problem emerged following the KB5066835 security update that was deployed earlier this month, impacting systems that are operating on Windows 11 versions 24H2, 25H2, as well as Windows Server 2025. The update aims to restore functionality and ensure a seamless user experience in the affected environments.
