Microsoft fixes Windows 11 bug that disabled mouse and keyboard in Recovery Mode

Microsoft has released an urgent out-of-band (OOB) update, designated KB5070773, aimed at fixing a glitch in Windows 11 that rendered USB input devices, such as mice and keyboards, inoperative within the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). This problem emerged following the release of the KB5066835 security update earlier this month, impacting systems operating on Windows 11 versions 24H2, 25H2, as well as Windows Server 2025. The update is crucial for restoring functionality to affected devices, ensuring users can rely on their USB-connected peripherals during recovery processes.
