Microsoft fixes Windows 11 bug that disabled mouse and keyboard in Recovery Mode

Microsoft recently issued an urgent out-of-band update, known as KB5070773, to tackle a critical Windows 11 glitch that rendered USB input devices, such as keyboards and mice, non-functional within the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). This problem emerged following the deployment of the KB5066835 security update earlier in the month. It primarily impacted computers operating on Windows 11 versions 24H2, 25H2, as well as Windows Server 2025. The swift release of this update underscores Microsoft’s commitment to ensuring that users can seamlessly access essential recovery tools.
