Microsoft has swiftly released an urgent out-of-band (OOB) update, identified as KB5070773, to tackle a pesky bug in Windows 11. This glitch had been causing headaches by disabling USB input devices, including mice and keyboards, within the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). The problem emerged following the deployment of the KB5066835 security update earlier this month, impacting systems operating on Windows 11 versions 24H2, 25H2, and Windows Server 2025. In response to user feedback and to ensure a seamless recovery experience, Microsoft acted promptly to resolve the issue.
