Microsoft fixes Windows 11 bug that disabled mouse and keyboard in Recovery Mode

Microsoft has swiftly released an urgent out-of-band (OOB) update, identified as KB5070773, to tackle a pesky bug in Windows 11. This glitch was causing USB input devices, such as mice and keyboards, to become unresponsive within the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). The problem emerged following the deployment of the KB5066835 security update earlier this month. It has primarily impacted systems that are running Windows 11 versions 24H2, 25H2, as well as Windows Server 2025. To ensure seamless device functionality, Microsoft has taken prompt action with this latest update.
