Microsoft fixes Windows 11 bug that disabled mouse and keyboard in Recovery Mode

Microsoft has swiftly released an urgent out-of-band (OOB) update, identified as KB5070773, in response to a critical bug affecting Windows 11. This glitch had rendered USB input devices, such as keyboards and mice, inoperative within the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). The issue emerged following the implementation of the KB5066835 security update earlier this month, impacting devices operating on Windows 11 versions 24H2, 25H2, as well as Windows Server 2025. The update aims to restore functionality and ensure smooth operation for all affected systems.
